We offer the following products:
- Environmental Multi-Line Policy (EMP) The EMP policy provides a broad coverage solution in a single, integrated package for environmental contractors and consultants who have environmental exposure. The integrated policy form provides insureds and brokers with flexibility of coverage, limits, deductibles and trigger types in one well integrated and easy to understand package. CGL based upon ISO 2001 is available on a claims made or occurrence form. Contractors Pollution Liability (CPL) coverage can be provided on an occurrence or claims-made basis. An optional coverage part for Professional Liability (PL) may be provided to cover professional services. Policies may be written on a blanket or project-specific basis. Target markets include environmental contractors, consultants and project managers as well as emergency response contractors, remediation contractors and environmental engineers
- Environmental Multi-Line Excess (EMX) The EMX policy is intended to provide follow-form excess coverage over the EMP. It may also sit excess of employers’ liability and auto coverage, subject to underwriting acceptance. Target markets include environmental contractors, consultants and project managers as well as emergency response contractors, remediation contractors and environmental engineers.
- Pollution Legal Liability Insurance (PLL) The PLL policy protects the insured from loss arising from pollution conditions at or emanating from the insured's sites. It covers cleanup costs, as well as bodily injury and property damage resulting from pollution conditions. Certain business interruption costs are also covered. The policy consists of four coverage parts. These include: (a) Cleanup Costs, Bodily Injury and Property Damage resulting from Pollution Events which are determined to have first commenced prior to the Retroactive Date of the Policy; (b) Cleanup Costs, Bodily Injury and Property Damage resulting from Pollution Events which are determined to have first commenced after the Retroactive Date of the Policy; (c) Business Interruption; and (d) Cleanup Costs, Bodily Injury and Property Damage at Non-Owned Locations. Target market includes chemical manufacturers, real estate owners/developers, fuel storage and distribution facilities, and industrial plants.
- Contractors Pollution Liability Insurance (CPL) The CPL policy provides a coverage solution for contractors and design professionals who have environmental risk exposure. The policy protects the named insured against third-party pollution claims arising from the performance of the covered operations. It covers bodily injury and property damage, including both on and off-site cleanup costs. The insured is protected for work performed by its subcontractors. Both sudden and gradual pollution events are covered, and there is coverage for Natural Resources Damages. Subject to underwriting considerations, this policy is available either on a claims-made basis or occurrence basis. Target market includes environmental contractors, general contractors, construction managers and construction wrap-ups. Coverage can be offered on a project-specific basis or on a practice policy basis to cover a contractor's full scope of operations.
- Environmental Consultants Professional and Pollution Liability Insurance (ECPP) The ECPP policy protects consultants and contractors against third-party liability claims for professional liability and for third-party pollution claims arising from the performance of covered operations. It covers claims for bodily injury, property damage and cleanup costs (both on and off-site) that arise from pollution events resulting form covered operations, including both sudden and gradual pollution events. The policy also covers claims arising out of an actual or alleged wrongful act with respect to professional services. This policy is offered on a claims-made basis only. Target market includes environmental consultant firms, construction managers, design-build firms and multi-disciplinary architectural/engineering firms, whose primarily business is environmental-based.
